May Allah, the All-Hearing and the Knower of all secrets, Who prescribed Ramadan for us for our own good that we may become pious, to guide us all to seize every single moment of this holy month to get closer to Him, Allah, The One Who Is Ever Near, cleanse our hearts, and help us to constantly be in service of our communities and anyone who is in need for help or support. My Allah, the Curer, heal everyone who has been affected by the current pandemic, relieve all humanity’s suffering, and protect all Mankind from any calamities. He Is, Allah, our Beloved Master, The only and absolute source of our good and wellbeing.
Ramadan is the month of fasting, increased acts of worship, and Zakat. It is the most blessed month of generosity. Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: “The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon Him, was the most generous of all people, but the time he spent the most was during the month of Ramadan, and he used to increase his recitation of the Qur’an, prayers, remembering Allah and I’tikaaf (i.e. residing in the mosque with the intention of worship)”.
As we are navigating the blessed month of Ramadan during the present challenging COVID-19 pandemic, we are all urged and offered a very special opportunity to sustain our Masjid, Apex Mosque. Our urgent and generous donations for the sake of Allah, The Ever Giving, are highly needed more than ever to fulfill one of our paramount duties to support the best-beloved places to Allah, the Almighty, which are His Masjids/ Mosques.
