AMYC (Apex Mosque Youth Center)
There are several challenges that the American Muslim youth face today. They have difficulties maintaining their personal values and beliefs while attempting to fit in and they struggle with stereotypes and feelings of discrimination. Many teens lack the social support and help they need to understand and overcome these unavoidable problems. Through this youth center, we hope that our youth can get together, encourage, and inspire one another along a journey of accepting and replenishing their Muslim identity.

...principles found in the Quran and sunnah in a manner that guides them to overcome the current challenges they are facing.
To empower the youth
...to put knowledge into action through educational programs and fun activities.
WE SURVEYED THE COMMUNITY
Through a detailed survey to gather our community’s thoughts and opinions regarding a youth center, we had overwhelmingly positive responses with 98% of them saying it’s important to have a Youth Center.
